Talmu is the worldwide leading brand of pedestrian reflectors. Talmu is a division of Hella Lighting Finland. Talmu products are high quality pedestrian reflectors that are produced with the benefit of 50 years' experience and expertise backed by an extensive R&D program, own tool making facilities and modern production machinery. All their reflectors are certified according to the CE-standard (EN13356) for "High-visibility accessories for non-professional use". The standard specifies minimum requirements for pedestrian reflectors within the CEN-countries, and Talmu reflectors were among the first to get this certificate - significant proof of the high quality of their reflectors.

Hella Lighting Finland Oy is the leading manufacturer of lighting products for the automotive and vehicle industry in the Nordic countries. Their pedestrian reflectors are well known all over the world and appropriately used, they remarkably improve the safety of a pedestrian in the dark.

Talmu was founded in 1955 and since 1983 has been owned by Hella KG. Over the years, Talmu has developed from a small family owned company into an international supplier working in cooperation with the automotive industry. During the last financial year (2003/2004) sales amounted to approximately EUR 32.2 million, of which 90% was exported. The company has about 250 employees and the production plant is situated in Salo, southwestern Finland.
